Hello Sandy,

If you are using 64 bit WEP encryption, you need to use a 10 hexadecimal
character key. That is, you can use characters from 0-9 and a-f.

However, if you are using 128 bit WEP encryption as I suspect is the case,
you will need to use a 26 hexadecimal character key.

If you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Subject: [Braillenote] Help connecting to Home Network

I have just got my Wi-Fi card from Humanware and am trying to connect to my
home network. The BN can detect the network but I can't get online. I have
completed what I believe to be the WEP Key - a ten-digit number - but think
(from reading the manual) that I may also need to add a Security Level code?
I haven't a clue what this might be or where I might find it. Then again, I
could be barking up the wrong tree entirely.

Any suggestions gratefully received.

Sandy Bannister
