Hi Sarah:

Actually, I did not wish to purchase a power supply charger from Radio Shack
originally. However, I COULD NOT CONCEIVE paying $27 plus $5 shipping for
it. Sounds like just a few dimes, but, when I took it to Radio Shack, the
folks over there were able to FIND A POWER SUPPLY CHARGER that works. I had
a chance to TEST IT right there in the store, and, believe it or not, it
continues to work like a charm!!

As for batteries, I do TRUST THE FOLKS at Batteries Plus!! If they can't do
it, they'll tell me right off the bet.

Blazie Engineering (or is it now Freedom Scientific) will also have you
believe that their kind of batteries are SECOND TO NON and out of this
world; alas, Batteries Plus CHANGED THE BRAILE LITE 40 BATTERIES for me for
about $50 and that's including all sales taxes and NO ADDITIONAL SHIPPING
CHARGE, <smile>!! I'm quite willing to let Batteries Plus EXPERIMENT with
my BrailleNote; if they get it right, voila!! If not, I'll SULK for a while
and SHELL OUT another $5000 to get a new one, <grin>!! This will be keeping
Pulsedata-Humanware for a while, <smile>!! For now, I hope this battery
never goes flat; or should it choose to go flat, I can be in California for
an assignment so I can get the equipment back same day if I'm not dreaming,
<haha>!!

Sincerely,
Olusegun
