And what about email michelle? do i have to write in computer code and translate or what? thanks. At 05:48 PM 10/07/04 +1000, Michele Thredgold said this:
Hi Lisa. Michele here. Personally, I prefer the Braille keyboard as I'm faster on a Braille keyboard than a Quirty but it's up to the individual. If you feel more comfortable with a quirty, go for a Quirty.

YOU do have to learn chords if you use the Braille keyboard, the main ones being space with h for help and space with e for exit, but most of them make perfect sense and you can call up help any time you need it. On the whole, I found the BrailleNote heaps more user-friendly in that regard than the Braille'n'speak or any of its brothers.

Good luck.

Michele
