the artic uses a cartridge, it is plastic, thick, and nothing like a compact 
flash card. It kind of feels like a small version of one of the old nintendo 
videogame cartridges. Nothing like our compact flash cards we have now. The 
artic is mainly designed to work with dos, windows version 3.x and windows 95.
