Hello Lindsay, If you are not in a position to upgrade to the latest KeySoft at this time, my advice would be to delete the kgm32.dll and kgm4332eng.dll if they are found in the Windows folder on the flashdisk. At this point, press reset and see whether the crackle has disappeared.
If you have multilingual software installed however, this would not be advisable. If you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact me. This happens fairly regularly (maybe a couple times per day) and only lasts for a couple of seconds at a time so it's not a big deal but I just want to make sure it's not a huge problem in actuality. However, on a separate note, I have also noticed that sometimes my speech will all of a sudden shut off while I am in the middle of using my Braillenote with the speech on. I can fix this with a reset but it is still very annoying when I am in the middle of researching for a school project and then my speech cuts out. I am running version 4.01. Is there anything I can do to fix these problems? Thanks. > > Lindsay > > > ___ > To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit > http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote >
