Due to the high amount of traffic that is sometimes sent to the BrailleNote list, we have implemented a number of topic filters that can now be selected from the BrailleNote list URL by the list member making it possible for subscribers to choose what subjects on the list are delivered to their inbox. The subject line and keyword headers of each email sent to the list will determine whether that particular email falls into one of the predefined topics and which topic the message falls under. Subscribers can also choose to or not to receive messages that don't fall into any of the defined topics.
Essentially, this means that it is now more important than ever, for BrailleNote list users to be mindful that their email is regarding what the subject line says it is regarding to ensure that other fellow list members aren't annoyed by undesired messages and that members don't miss out on messages that would otherwise be of interest. If you choose to only receive messages on certain topics, we suggest that you check the list of topics often as new ones will likely be added over the next month or two.
