Hi Rich,

With regard to connecting your BrailleNote to a wireless bridge:

I don't think you will encounter any difficulties. However, the
usefulness of such a configuration is questionable. The BrailleNote is
usually the part of your equipment which you carry about with you, not the
PC or laptop to which you are connecting. The BrailleNote is not itself a
server of any kind, so hooking up to wire seems illogical when other
machines are off the wire, unless they themselves are relatively portable.

However, there is no reason why you shouldn't do this. Connect your
wireless access bridge to an existing ethernet port, presumably that of a
router or corporate LAN. You can then establish a connection between,
say, your BrailleNote, either on another node of the router or elsewhere
on your corporate LAN, and your wirelessly-connected portable computer.

I have a wireless network constituting a cable modem, a router to share
the capacity and a wireless bridge connected to that router. The wireless
bridge accepts connections from keyed wireless nodes in infrastructure
mode. The ethernet bridge accounts for all ethernet frames sent
wirelessly, which makes it possible for the wireless nodes to, say, use
DHCP to receive configuration from the router. Here's to hoping that the
BrailleNote will be among the wireless nodes that will be on the network
very soon!

Cheers,
Sabahattin
