I understand. I have never experienced the formatting thing, but I did
lose the contents of my flash disk twice. And, this is why I always
store my important files on a compact flash card. That is not sounding
like a viable solution either.
So now, I back everything up to a PC and hope for the best.

Richard, that's an interesting thought but I tend to think that it's
just a
fluke with the BrailleNote and not the brand of flash cards. I've used
nothing but Sandisk cards over the years and I only had the formatting
catastrophe happen to me one time. That's all I needed to convince me
to
back up all the time.

I still haven't gotten over that loss,(smile.)
