Hello Caitlin

If the problem is that the spell checker is taking a long time to activate,
the problem may be that your user dictionary file is getting too big.  What
I would do is move the file which is located in the dictionaries folder on
the flashdisk to another folder and press the reset button.  Open a document
and activate the spell checker, noting whether the performance has
increased.
