When I had a wireless card in my laptop, it used to get warm that way also.

Hi Greg,

I'm neither Jonathan or Dean, but the Ambicom card does get a little warm
after some use. It doesn't get hot by any means, but you can notice the bit
of
warmth when you remove it. It shouldn't get really hot though.

This is probably because it is drawing power and also transmitting to and
receiving from the network.

Hello,
I am using the ambicom wl1100c and when I take it out of the unit I have
noticed that the card is getting pretty warm and I wanted to know if this
was
normal.
Thanks, Greg
