Hello!

What you say is so, but one needs to pay for their initial upgrade, then one has two upgrades for free before needing to pay for another major upgrade. In the case of 6.1 which should be out soon, users of the BN family of products will need to pay $399 for the upgrade which will be on a flash card. One simply places that flash card in their bn and somehow executes whatever installs the new upgrade into the unit. Imagine at some point, newer BN units will already have 6.1 in them so what we call an upgrade will already be in newer units. I'm certain this procedure will be used in future upgrades but I'm probably saying more than I know! For me, 6.1 is the only upgrade that matters for now! One must have the newer mother board in their unit to have 5.0 and up.

Hi, Charles and list:
Charles, it depends on what your upgrade is. If it's the old motherboard, you can only grade to a 4.02. If you have the new motherboard, and you have a 5.0, you can upgrade to a 5.1, by going up on the internet. HTH
