Diane,
This is why I suggested buying a used printer. Also this is why I
suggested to a friend of mine not to buy the PK because she wanted to do
lots of file transfers and she doesn't have a windows computer and I
seriously doubt she will get one. So I suggested she buy one of the
current braillenotes and also a disk drive before they're no longer
available. this technology is changing so much and so fast I just can't
see how we can all keep up with it all the time. Now I am trying to decide
which braillenote I want.

Hi, List!
Besides, Isaac, Jonathan said it would be a while before these current units
will no longer be good. Also, at least you can print from these whereas you
can't from the BNPK. And, I like having more ways to store data than what the
PK offers. Remember, it has only the one flash card slot in the back, not the
slot on the side. The current units, too, will have that wireless capability
just like the PK. Overall, I think my BNQT will be working for me for a long
time to come.

yes at some point but not right away. I think reflashing my unit will do me
good for awhile.
