As much fun as it is to bash FS, I should like to point out that they
didn't support the Braillenote family of synthesizers long before there
was a Pac Mate. And, frankly, I can't imagine wanting to hear Keynote
speech for longer than short stretches. It's all subjective, eh?
I do not believe that this list should be used to bash other companies.
I am on lists run by Freedom Scientific, and I wouldn't use those lists
as a forum to bash Humanware, Pulsedata, or GW Micro or anyone else. It
is simply inappropriate.
Just one man's opinion.

Subject: [Braillenote] jaws used as external synthesizer

Hi Foks,

In responce to the jaws using the braillenote family of products as a
remote synthesizer, that is impossible.
I am a freedom Scientific dealer along with a gw micro dealer and
visuaide
and pulse data, or shall I say Humanware dealer, and FS will not support

their competition like the braillenote as a remote synthesizer, since
their
own product the pac mate does not do that.
Window-eyes has been outstanding supporting and coming up wiht new ways
of
their screen reader supporting the braillenote family of products, so if

you want to have your braillenote or voicenote work very well with a
screen
reader, dump Jaws and get on board with GW Micro's and Window-eyes.
