Michele:
I have the Spanish software so my responses might not help. I had to write
in eight dot computer braille and if I wanted to write in English and in
Spanish, I had to change the language back to English b/f I wrote the
English.
Sarai and Rosie, Proverbs 3:5,6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
                          And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."

Subject: [Braillenote] Language Software

> Hi all. I need some help with the linguistic soutware.
>
> When I bought my BN, I also purchased the German component of the
linguistic software (or whatever it's called). I ought it would enable me
to write in Australia grade 2 German braille, or at least in grade one, and
read documents written in German in grade 1 or grade 2 German Braille.
>
> When I try to open a document written in German and translate it into
braille, it says that it can't translate into grade 2 braille, automatically
translates into grade 1 but after the grade 1 indicator, the document is
empty.
>
> Equally, when I want to write German is a mixed document (German and
English), when I choose the language from the options menu, the grade 0
indicator always comes up.
>
> Also, what do I do when I have already written partly in German contracted
braille and partly in english contracted braille, and then want to go back !
insert the language indicators? Can I do that?
>
> Await your responses with bated breath.
