Hi, Peggy and List!

Why not set an alarm for the amount of time you want to exercise for? Then, you
could read a book, or listen to music while you go at it!

>Subject: [Braillenote] More stopwatch observations in 6.1

>Hi, guys. My stopwatch did its funky thing again, where it stopped
>announcing the time every minute, even with speech on. I happened to know
>that I'd gotten close to my 15 minutes of elliptical riding, so I got off
>and pressed the thumbkey and the display said ten minutes. I let it run
>for a while, and when I knew it was getting close to the ten-minutes-idle
>time and would go to sleep, I sat down and watched the display. When it
>went to sleep, I counted another minute or so, then brought the display
>back to life. The stopwatch had actually stopped when the display went to
>sleep, and it was my pressing a thumbkey that brought it back to life. I
>did a reset and expect everything to work fine for tomorrow's exercise
>session; but I wonder why it periodically does this. I thought it was
>just going to sleep but still counting, and was surprised to learn that
>it's actually stopping. So those who have 6.1 and use the stopwatch, be
>forewarned that there may be situations when it'll stop without
>permission. <grin
