I often transferred files from the BN to the PC. I always did final editing of my school papers on the PC, but I started them on the BN. When I took minutes in meetings, I had to email those minutes to other people in the company. I'd transfer them, fix up a few oddities, and they'd be fine.

If you translate KeyWord documents with the BN into formats readable with a PC, such as .txt, .doc, or .rtf before transfer, you can transfer them to the PC without a problem, and although you may lose some formatting when the document is translated, the document will be readable on a PC. >----- Original Message ----- >From: rhonda clark <[EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: Braillenote List <[email protected] >Sent: Fri, 15 Oct 2004 18:41:10 -0500 (CDT) >Subject: Re: [Braillenote] how do you use keyword? >Hi Josh: >I use Keyword a lot. The time you wouldn't want to do it is if you are transfering files into the pc. The pc won't translate. However, if it's just things I'm going to use in the bn, that's all I ever use. >If I am downloading books, I don't, because it really requires a file extension. Actually, your post was just fine. The manual doesn't tell you everything, though there is a lot of good schtuff (deliberate spelling) in it. ___ To leave the BrailleNote list, send a blank message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To view the list archives or change your preferences, visit http://list.pulsedata.com/mailman/listinfo/braillenote
