Hi Jonathan,

Being at a nexus in my professional life, I need to clarify some points re
the forthcoming upgrade in order to make some long term plans. So I do hope you
can help me.

(1) Which type of Blue-tooth are PDI considering including, IE, 1 2 or 3?

(2) Will the new version be more accessible to off the shelf software? If so,
could you elaborate?

(3) As far as wireless connectivity is concerned can we use such things as, for
example, software phones? Also, in general, is this new software open to choice
with regard to makes, or will we still be restricted to those brands provided
or recommended by PDI?

(4) Will the new version be more accessible to more versions of GPS and their
maps?

(5) The temp file issue: As you know, downloading with the bn has been severely
restricted because during the process, files have to be stored on the limited
space on the keysoft systems disk. Has this been rectified?

(6) I see no mention of synching emails with the PC. How far away is this?

(7) With the new OS, will we have the option of either storing our emails to
another drive while retaining the database structure, or will we be able to
download them to a drive of our choice?

(8) Is the link between the internet browser and keymail now to be seamless?
Will we be able to click on a link in an email and go there?

(9) Will we be able to use all the functions of, for example, chm files?

(10) Will we be able to download and use onboard thesauri, language
dictionaries etc?

(11) How useful will the bn be in conjunction with a cell phone in the context
of getting it to read text messages, the address book and so on? In short, if I
ever can be, could it negate the necessity for expensive programs such as Talks?

I suppose, as time goes by, I will have loads more questions for you, so
please forgive me in advance for the liberty but I really do have to make some
hard choices very soon and wish to make the right one and knowledge is power!

                    Thanks,
                    All the best,
                    Sandy.
