Doug, You make a good point about the formatting issue. Have you ever seen a computer randomly format a disk (BN not included)?

Since installing Keysoft 5.1, I have received the message "can not access flash disk" several times. However, going back to the main menu and simply reissuing the command works fine. I have also gotten the message "access denied", a couple times using keylist. Again, issuing the query a second time from the main menu finds the desired data. The first time I saw the message about "can not access the flash disk", I got a bit scared. However, 34 years of computer experience gave me the patience to remain calm and simply try the commands again. Now, if we can find a way to get rid of the really scary one, "This format request has been automatically replied to with yes." Whoever wrote the software put those feared words in a printf statement, so somebody knows exactly where this happens in the code, and they could easily remove this whole formatting thing. Whether it's in Windows CE or in Keysoft, it's way past time for PDI to rid the BN of anything related to formatting drives.
