OK, I just tried the latest version of Active sync, 1.8 something an it
asked me if I wanted to connect. Acted like it was going to go and then
I got the following message on the Braille note.

"exception has been thrown by the target of invocation."

I have never seen this message before, am still running 5.1 build 19 on
the Braille note (update has still not arrived), Active sync 1.8
something, and the key sync that was up on the propagation site from
last spring when I upgraded to 5.1 since the one on my CD told me to go
with a later version, although when I loaded the supposedly new version
it said it was a file older than the one on the PC.

I don't know, this is very confusing and until today I have never had
problems with synchronization.

Rose,

The very first thing I'd try is to go to the microsoft.com site and
download the latest version of activesync. A later version than the one
you have may also be on
the humanware site, but not certain about that.

I believe the latest syncronization techniques came into being around
5.0 but there have also been updates in some areas. The version of
activesync I use
here is 3.7.1 and I believe there are later versions out there now.

Not sure as to when the latest version of keysync came out. But, if
you're able to connect to the bn with activesync and only start
experiencing the problem
when you try to synchronize files, the version issue might be your
problem.

Worth a try anyway.

Don
