Lisa,
You won't mess up the battery! Just do the "I'm talking till my battery
goes flat routine" with the remaining battery left. Then charge it back up
again. it should be fine. I occasionally get the battery low or critical
at 35 percent. Just do what I said and everything will be fine. Some on
this list might say charge battery completely up and then run it down with
the "I'm talking till my battery goes flat routine"! I don't have the
patience to do that so I just put that routine on with the remaining
battery left and everything is fine! My battery through it all says it is
in calibration so what can I say. It isn't something you need to worry
much about especially with a new battery. If the charge doesn't stay up
consistently, then you may need to have another battery put in. Simply use
the heck out of your BN and make certain the battery runs down often and
you should be fine. If it is from 6 to 10 percent, charge it up. That is
a good average.

Hi Everyone,
Okay I had a new battery put into my BN when it was in for repair. When
the BN was returned to me it was at 68 percent. Now at 30 percent it is
saying battery is critical. Maybe I got a bad battery? I tried resetting
the unit and am still getting the same message. I can still use the unit
while the message keeps showing up. I didn't get the battery is low
message before the battery is critical message.
Any ideas?
I'd call tech support but after being on hold for an hour yesterday only
to be told they had no explanation for my missing folders I'd prefer not
to contact them.
Sorry to sound so negative about PDI. It's just that when my unit is
returned I expect to not have to return it immediately because of more
problems. Oh well life isn't fair. I'd charge it but don't want to screw
up the battery.
