Lisa, just translate the file to a txt file and then set the Braille
grade to 1 when in that file. You can also, instead of translating,
just save a second copy of the original brf file as a txt file.

To do that, when standing in the brf document, press the save command,
it's either space with s or backspace with s, I don't have my unit at
hand presently, then to get to the right version, in your case txt, use
backspace with x till it prompts to save as txt and then enter. You
will then have both copies saved. Remember to have the student change
the default grade to Grade I in the text document, otherwise the text
document will also be displayed in grade II.

Subject: [Braillenote] reading in grade one

Hi Listers,
I would like to know how I can read files and books from Web braille in
grade 1. I tried changing my prefered reading grade and my keyboard to
prefered reading grade. I can get the BN to show the prompts in Grade 1
but not the Web Braille books or the information in keyword Braille
files. I just thought it would be neat if my students could use the BN
to read books from Web Braille and since my student who loves learning
about the Braillenote still reads mostly Grade 1 I thought it would be
nice to have some way for her to read information on the Braillenote in
Grade 1. Thanks for your time and your help.
Lisa
