Regarding Terry's message below, you don't do that with your pc. You
shouldn't have to with your bn and I believe that with 6.1.1., you won't.
Even with 5.1, I have sometimes downloaded 200 or more messages using a
cell phone. Sometimes, the bn hangs and sometimes not. That has to do with
how well it talks to the email server, not the ability of the bn to
download. The only thing that would effect that is fflash disk memory. With
6.1, you can designate that your bn use a compact flash card to store your
email messages rather than the flash disk. This will get around the lack of
memory you might have on your flash disk.

Good one bob!
Read 50 or so. take a short break and clean out your waste basket, then read
some more. It is sure a lot better to take it in steps than to have your BN
crash on you!

Subject: [Braillenote] 300 email?
Hi, folks: With all of the talk, both positive and negative, about 6.1, I
have read some messages which trouble me greatly. These messages are from
folks, who have tried to download hundreds of email messages at one time.
One person mentioned 300 messages. With all due respect, that's too many
messages to download. I don't care what upgrade you're running; i not
download that many messages, there is a chance that you're going to corrupt
your database. That's a drag, because, then, you have to delete it and
re-create it. Your BNSTVN is always going to hang up, if you try to
download that many messages. If you notice that you have that many, you
should stop the process after 50 or so. 6.1 has its issues, but that isn't
one which not can pin on the upgrade. God bless. Bob and Maxy-wax
