I replied to your question about wireless, but Don brings up a good point here.
That is, wireless is like a network.
You can use your own desktop as a server or some other server, such as you 
might find at a hotel or airport.
As I understand it, you would have to pay for this, just as you would have to 
pay for your dialup.
However, and again, this is my understanding, if you network through your pc, 
all you have to pay for is the unit you connect to the pc and your wireless 
card.
