Terri is right. You can also tell what you have keyed in and follow what is
going on in the room around you.
I went to a conference, held in an auditorium, and got a frunt row seet. I
started out by using the chair beside me for the BN, but the room filled up
and I finally had to give it up. I finally took notes, just holding the BN
against my body with the strap across my sholder so I would not drop it. At
the end, I had to ask my neighbor a question or two, but I took more notes
than I have ever taken in a staff meeting. Don't wory about errors in a
situation like this. You can always go back later and delete them.
Remember, they are your notes not for the whole class.
Good luck.

Definitely, not! I would suggest turning off speech and use the braille
display only. Using braille only has two advantages: (1) you can
concentrate on listening to the people speaking at the meeting and (2) your
battery will last longer.
