If someone who got the 5.1 on a flash disk wants to send it to me, I'll be happy to get it. I am eligible for 5.1 but don't want to take the time to download it and do the install using active sync.

Write me off list at:

and I'll give you my mailing address.

Someone said they think the discs are serial number specific; that's a risk I'm willing to run.

I wonder why people are getting cf cards with 5.1 on them lately. This makes two or three people on this list who got a cf card they didn't need; and who knows how may more who are not on this list. I hope I actually get 6.1 when it comes out. It doesn't enspire much confidence to see this going on.
I wonder how 6.1 will be shipped? Will it come UPS or via postal?
It would be nice to know what to watch for. My UPS guy has a habit of just dropping things on my portch and not letting me know. I might find it only days later if I happen to stumble across it.

Hi Listers,After talking with tech support, we figured out that they sent me a CF card of 5.1 instead of 6.1. Talk about frustrated! I'd still appreciate step-by-step instructions about how to install, or the URL where it's given. It sure would be nice to have some Braiile documentation which Jonathan's e-mail said would be with the CF card. Of course it would have been nice to get the right one in the first place.
