Formatting on a braille note is easier then a braille lite, but if you need
to do a lot of word processing, footnotes, end notes, by a laptop. The
battary life on a braille note is about 20 hours for me, but the braille
lite would get 30 hours. The braille note has 16 megs of flash memory which
unlike the braille lite doccuments can be edited and stored in. The braille
note can have as much memory as you want, by upgrading it with compaq flash
cards. The brialle note is much faster then the braille lite, it's display
is better, and it's speech is better. I can't think of a reason why you
would want to chose a braille lite over a braille note unless all you are
doing is taking notes and battary life is the only other thing that matters,
and is a job critical concern. Hope this helps.
