Hi Folks,

first of all to Kathy, to fine how much you have left on your drives, whether they are internal or removeable. go to file manager, then press the letter D for directory, then space bar to the drive you want to check on size used and left free, do not enter that drive, but be on it, and press the space bar and letter I for the BT unit, or the read key an dletter I for qwerty keyboard.

Now for removing backup folders that you have created withthe the backup program on your braillenotes, QT or BT. I just did a number of creating and deleting the backup folders I created using the backup program on the BT or QT units and had no problem deleting them with the folder manager erase feature. It will take two times deleting the backup folder, the first time it deletes any non protected files. Then you are returned to the folder manager which I just pressed E for erase and directed the braillenote to the drive and folder called may 1 backup 2005 and pressed enter again on it and this time it started to erase each protected file after warning me it is a protected file and I still wanted to erase it. Before, in earlier versions of keysoft you had to erase the backup file with active sync or a external usb reader-writer drive.

One final item. in importing ms word 2002 or 2003 files, the braillenote still has some problems with importing certain files of microsoft word in 2002 or 2003, do to tables or charts of other more advanced formatting styles But never the less, this issue is not only a problem for the braillenotes, but for the other accessable pda's out there from other venders too, since I checked them out with the other pda's I own, made by these venders..

I hope this answers your questions.
Roger
