Hi Stacey, I set my maximum size at 12k. This does make for some babysitting while mail is being downloaded--if you wait too long to tell it what to do with a larger-than-maximum Email, it times out and you have to start over--but it gets over half of my spam. 12k seems to be a decent enough compromise, at least for my purposes.
