If you have paid for the upgrade and SMA you should then contact
Pulsedata/Humanware to make them aware that you are unable to download the
product key for installing 6.1.

Without that small file, you cannot upgrade.

The file is small enough to fit on a floppy but you can also download it to
your Braille Note if you have an Internet connection to download to your
Braille Note. Then you would copy the key file to your compact flash card
and then follow the instructions for installing keysoft 6.1

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Braillenote] Help, help!

Hello list,

I went to http://www.pulsedata.com/6_1. I found the product key link and
selected it as I was asked to do! I was then asked to log on which I did
with my unit's serial number and frog1. The instructions told me to look
for a product key link with a download below it so I could download the
product key pertaining to my unit. I was shown that I have no SMA's
available to me and that is understandable since I haven't purchased any
SMA. The only downloadable stuff I could see for me to download pertains
to 5.0 or 5.1 but nothing which pertains to 6.1! How do I fix this so I
can get the product key so I can upgrade. I already have the 6.1 upgrade
card in my unit ready and waiting for me to get started! I'd also like to
know whether the 6.1 product key can fit onto a floppy disk so I can
transfer it to the card as I've been asked to do?

Thanks much!

Jim Aldrich
