Hi Anne,

You need the braille.ini file that Jonathan was sending out last summer and fall, which you put in your wineyes folder, i believe under users, but they forgot to put it in windowp-eyes 5.0 and I have ask jonathan and dug to put it back in. they assured me they will, but have been slightly busy with keysoft 6.1 and window-eyes 5.0 releases. I did a training session last November with Window-eyes pro 4.5 and the braillenote pk and the braillenote bt running keysoft 5.1 built 22 and showing how as a braille terminal it becomes a two way device where you can type on your bt pda and the words show up on ms word, eudora, outlook and so on in normal english text. this was a great tool for the deaf-blind person for two way communication between them and a hearing person.

Hi all,

I've been experimenting with using the BN as a terminal with a 98
machine running the latest WE and Keysoft 5.1., build 22. I thought
one could type on the BN and it would work to edit the stuff on the
computer. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the BrailleNote to do
that. I can move around the screen, but I can not change anything.
Is this how it's supposed to work, or do I need additional software or
what? Thanks in advance.
