Ouch. Perhaps coughing up the cash to increase my BN's memory would solve
the sluggishness in loading and saving time, as I'm pretty sure I just have
the default of 16mb of memory. I doubt the state agency who purchased it
would splurge on extra memory to increase performance. Anyone have the
price on hand for upgrading the memory?
Regards,
Chad

Hi Stacey:
I can answer your non-price specific questions... as I luckily don't take
care of that department.
The default amount of flash memory on a voice or braille note is 16
megabytes of memory. This (for an additional fee), can be upgraded to 48
megs of memory, thus giving you 32 extra megabytes of memory. Many list
members or bn users say this additional memory helps out quite a bit when
handling large files, i.e. opening and closing and saving them. Therefore,
it may be worth looking into if you can spare the cash.
Yes, you can use the unit plugged in for an extended amount of time
without
hurting the battery. Many users do exactly this. You may want to check
pulsedata's website, which would most likely have the answers to your
price
queries. HTH, Laura

When ordering a new voicenote QT, how much memory is
available for storage? Can you upgrade this memory and if
so, how much does this cost?
Can you use the unit plugged in for an extended period of
time without effecting the battery?
What does the extended warranty of the voice note cover?
Also, how much do software Maintenance agreements cost?
