Hi Gary:

The bn/vn family can play a wav file at this point and time. What you must
do is copy a copy of that file to the keysoft drive, windows folder *note
that you should not keep your only copy there for fear of deletion during a
reset. Also, they take up a good deal of room so you'd really be eating up
your system space.*

However, if you really desperately need to listen to a wav file, it can be
done. Note that there are also extreme size limitations to this since you
only have about 6 megs of memory to work with, give or take a few.

After you have copied the file, you can go to the file's original location,
either the flash, compactflash, or storeage card, press sspace with x (read
with x) to view all file types, and press enter. Your file will be played
for you.

We keep hearing how extensive this next upgrade is going to be, yet we also
keep hearing "that will not be in the upgrade" time, and time, and time,
again. So my curiosity by this point is really aroused.

HTH, Laura

Does any one know if other media file types will be supported soon? Like
.wav and .ogg?
