Hi no, you shouldn't be worried, I believe that pulsedata diagnosed this as
a bug when keysoft 5.0 is burned in to rom with the braille note and you
install keysoft 5.1, after you have it for a little while, it will bring up
this error that this version of keysoft can not run or something to that
effect.

Sue, I am getting exactly the same thing. It's a scary-looking message,
but since things then start working I guess I haven't worried much.
Should I be worried?

Subject: [Braillenote] Cannot run this version of keysoft

Hello,

I am still getting the message cannot run this version of keysoft once a
day when I turn on my Braille Note. Today however, when I unplugged the
BN from the charger I received the message "adapter off, cannot run this
version of keysoft" The machine was in the off position. Later when I
turn it on, the "cannot run this version of keysoft came up". I
switched it off and back on and the message still appeared. I then
pressed dot 4 and the space bar, and it went on its merry way down the
main menu. I have noted that whenever I get this message, it places me
at the main menu no matter if I'm in the word processor or book reader
programs. Just adding a couple of pieces to the puzzle.
