I must confess, I don't know what type of reader I use, but it is a 8 in 1
reader.  That means that I can put 8 different types of flash cards in my
reader.  This is quite handy when you have a digital camera wich use another
card than the BN.  Maybe I'm lucky, but since I start using CF cards and the
cardreader, there was know problem with both the card and the reader.

Hi,
I had the same thing happen about a week ago; the flash card reader was the
problem, as I could read the card using another device. I ended up replacing
it with a Sandisk ImageMate card reader, which cost me about twenty bucks at
Staples.
