Hi Keao,

Well, ok, I assumed something here *slaps mouth*, which I should never do. You
had mentioned having a PC, right? Where has my memory gone? So when I mentioned
zipping the files, I assumed that you personally could accomplish this on the
PC using winzip, winrar (making sure to choose the compress to zip option),
ultimate zip, or some other compression program. I'm sorry if I was incorrect
in assuming this. However, I can tell you how to unzip something once it has
gotten to your bn.

>From the main menu, press b to enter keybook. Select the drive and folder
>which your zipped file resides on.
Next, press space with x (read with x), so that all, including hidden files are
displayed. Find the zipped file, and press backspace with r (blank), which is
the shortcut to rename a file. Give the file a new name, or keep the old one
if you so desire, but make sure that instead of a .zip extension, you give the
file a .bks extension. This extension is the one the bn recognizes as the
extension for compressed bookshare files; in reality a .bks file and a .zip
file are one in the same. This means that you are "tricking" the bn into
thinking it is dealing with a .bks file.

Next, find the newly renamed file, still in keybook, and press enter on it.
Follow the simple extraction prompts, making sure you simply press enter when
prompted for a password, since this document is not password protected. And
then, if all goes well, voilá! You have yourself an extracted mp 3 file.
Actually, I've never tried to decompress one on the bn. I shall go do that now
and let you know if anything goes wrong. I know that I have been unsuccessful
at unzipping pdf files on the bn, so this may be the case for all non-standard
text or .brf files. Let's cross are fingers that it isn't, OK? *smirk* That
would serve me right though, giving info on something that cannot be done.
*sheepish grin*

Then, obviously, you could not play an mp 3 file in keybook, so you would have
to exit to the main menu and enter the media player by pressing m. Select the
drive and folder, then the file, and press enter. I'll get back to you soon,
and HTH, more than that, I hope this works! *smile* Laura
