We should have the vercitility and capabilities of any off the shelf PDA
along with the special features that we need as-far-as adaptive technology
goes. If Human Ware wants to stay on top of the technology field with the
BrailleNote family of products that has got to be their mind set. With
prices being they way they are and users being more wise about technology
the competition of the dollars is going to get real tight. Most of these
products are not baught by individuals because they can't afford them. So
when the money sources dry up and ordinary people have to shell out four
thousand dollars for a PDA and the orders arn't coming in then their
philosophy will change. We shouldn't have to beg for a money management
product, it just should be there!

Subject: [Braillenote] Future Upgrades
First with regards to Rhonda's unit, didn't they test this before they
sent it back to you? Unfortunately, you might have to send the darn thing
in again! Why don't you insist they test and make 6.11 work seamlessly for
you because you as a person are worth it. With your expertise and
enthusiasm about this product, I would think you deserve the latest
updates as the rest of us. When they fix this, have them give you your
$100 back. Why should you be charged to downgrade if you have paid for
servicing your unit?
I think it would be exciting to have developers make this product even
more exciting and to have the hardware upgraded. However, Jonathan knows
that I've been asking for a year about a money manager progrm and other
nameless people have been asking for that for more than one year.
Jonathan said he put my request inthe log file, but he said that these
upgrades only work if more than a couple people want them, if I'm not
mistaken. Please, folks, if anyone else wants this update as badly as I
do, put it on the list, let Jonathan know, or both. Thanks in advance.
Nancy
