Hi Mike. The last version that will run on the old motherboard is 4.02. I
do sympathise with your predicament, but sadly technology does keep
advancing. Rather than release an entire new unit, we felt it best to offer
a motherboard upgrade to offer the most cost-effective way of keeping units
current.

Hi all. I'm wondering if version 5 and or 6 will work with the old
motherboard. I do have the memory upgrade. I currently have 4.01, and when
I
inquired about the price for a new board, and the new software, I was told
$1195. I know that technology changes, but having only have my voice note 2
years, I think that this price is quite high. Is version 4 the last version
that will work with the old boards?
