Hi Sarai. Try this. press backspace with ENTER with R to go into the review voice settings. The second item is new to 6.1. It says "speech volume level?". The default is 3. Set it to the maximum of 5 and things should be back to how they were before.

Volume fifteen is really low and volume 25 is okay, it use to be volume 20 was to loud for headphones and fine for listening w/o headphones, but volume 10 and lower was perfect w/ headphones, now its to low when using headphones and when not using headphones.
