Hi Nancy: Just a quick note to let you know that you can turn down the progress beeps and error alert tones if you care to do so.
Go to the options menu by pressing space with o (function with o) following by r to review the speech options. You will see three options which pertain to you: delete alarm tone, error alarm tone, and progress alarm tone. These are set on a numerical scale from 0-5, so setting them at 0 would be the lowest volume possible.
