Hi, Mary Ellen. Actually, Dean sent me a new directory of services klt file
last year when I was unable to connect through my lg4400. Using the
initialization string was the only way I could connect serially. Now, with
6.1, you guys have the same initialization string field.
I got someone at verizon to give me the string. I joined them because they
are the only provider who will give the blind free 4 1 1 calls. Everyone
else charges $1.25 to $150 per call.

Ok you said you had to enter an iniatiation string for your cell phone.
Probably, I will be using the braille note exclusively with my cell phone
and I have Verizon as of right now although if I find something better at
csun I will switch providers. When I set this cell phone up in 2003, I
don't remember even slightly doing an initialization string. So, is this
done through my cell phone provider my internet provider or through whom?
I hope this makes sense when you read it.
