Yes, an ASCII file will read in Grade 1--it's best to do that with files
that have accents in them. That's how I read Spanish books.

Shane, off course I cannot experiment here, but what happens if you just
switch to grade 1 braille? I believe an Ascii file should then read
correctly, provided that you only use Braille and not speech.

Subject: [Braillenote] Greek on the BrailleNote.

Hey there, listers. I have been lurking around here for a good long
while, but it's been some time since my last post. I have
a dilemma that I hope someone can help me with, and I need to know as
soon as possible. I am in a classical Greek class
at my university, and I need to read some Greek on the BrailleNote.
Having never downloaded anything like this from my PC
to my BrailleNote, I am clueless. Can anyone help? How in the world
will I be able to read the Greek material on the
BrailleNote if I download it as a standard ASCII text file. Thanks so
much for any and all discussion concerning this matter!!!

Shane Jackson, Tuscaloosa, AL, USA.
