Hi, Sharon and List!Don't try to run the battery down before charging it first. According to the manual, and the staff at PDH, you charge it all the way to 100%, then start the drain process. The drain should take approximately 17 hours, or so, to complete. Then, charge the unit to full charge again. This is how to recalibrate. I would simply that after you complete the charging process, you can check
the accuracy by using the o with spacebar then i with spacebar and then the
