Oh, it's a good idea, but it will be costly! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nathan Tobin" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2005 10:06 AM Subject: [Braillenote] An idea for the next VoiceNote/BrailleNote> Hello everyone. > I had a great idea for a new version of the VoiceNote/BrailleNote line of products. > I think PulseData should make a version of the VoiceNote/BrailleNote which doubles as a cell phone. They should allign themselves to a cell phone company like Verison or Sprint and have it have voice activated dialing and everything. Also, for the caller Id system, you should have the new version of the VoiceNote/BrailleNote speak the name and number of the person calling instead of having it printed on a screen. > Of course, it would require them to add a microphone to the original design for the talking and voice activated dialing. Since there are ways to hook up a braille note to a cell phone, I wouldn't
think that it would be a high priority for cell phone companies or
users. Since I've already made an investment for both a cell phone,
talking software for that phone and a braille note, I'm tapped out. I
don't think that there would be enough of a market to justify both the
extra costs and the extra investment that it would take by the cell
companies and Pulse Data.At 08:24 AM 2/9/2005, you wrote:
