Hi Mary-ellen. Ah yes, if I had known I was going to end up as the Product
Manager when I did that broadcast...<smile>. I still would like filters
although it is true to say that this is generally not considered a PDA
kind of function. It definitely won't be in 6.1 however.

As long as you keep the e-mail in your BrailleNote, the e-mail programme
should skip mail that is still on the server that you've already
downloaded. If you've deleted that mail from the BrailleNote then we have
no way of knowing what's new to you and what isn't.

Sorry but I don't understand your third question.

[Braillenote] question about the 6.1 upgrade:

Hi!
I have been wondering if in the 6.1 upgrade and the revision of the e-mail
client if there will be a little more flexability in the e-mail client?
What I mean by this is 1. e-mail filtering so we can dirrect our mails to
specific folders, Jonathan I remember very clearly that this was one of
the things you had on your wish list when this machine came out you
talked about this quite a lot on your presentation.
2. Will there be some way that if you have told the set up option Hay I
want my mail to stay up on the server until I can load it back on to my
pc, will there be a way for the new client to go in and say, hay, Mary
Ellen has already downloaded 20 of these e-mails so let's start
downloading from e-mail 21 infanadam?
Oh another question before I forget, when in this new e-mail client, will
there be an ability for e-mails to come in like on the regular computers?
I'm not talking about msn or windows messenger here, I'm just talking
about when your e-mail client is open that allows whatever e-mail comes
into the server to be downloaded instead of having to go through the
process we have to go through now.
