Do you live in the US? If som then you should have no problems, but if you
live outside of it, even if you are a US citizen, then I'd get the money
back.

> Hi Listers,
> Okay I paid for Bookshare. So far I'm not happy. I tried downloading a
book I wanted to read and was told that where I lived in the world didn't
have rights to the book for copyright reasons. I'd like to know who can
access this book where you are supposed to live. Has anyone ever received
this message when trying to download a book? I also had trouble loging in
like usual. I had to log in twice before I finally got accepted into the
wellcome page. However I find this with a lot of Web sites that I visit.
It takes two or three times before I am finally loffed in. I'm never really
sure why but whatever I have time to waste. I'm not really excited to be
with Bookshare if the first book I download I'm told that I cannot download
it. It makes me want to refund my $75. By the way to pay I called the
company and they were curious as to why I couldn't pay online.
> If first impressions are everything then my first impression of Bookshare
is not good. I'll email the tech support people at Bookshare to see if they
o what's going on.
> Sorry to complain about Bookshare. I live in Guam which is a U.S.
territory. The book I was trying to download was titled Bastard Out of
Carolina by Dorothy Allison. I'm curious if others are able to download
this book if you get ar same eror message and where you live.
