There are two QT commands for getting to the manual: (1) read with help
followed by the letter i for index or t for table of contents. (2) function
with o then u.

Subject: [Braillenote] where in the manual

: Hi all,
:
: Josh, suggest you use the thorough index which is available to you on
: your brailleNote. I found what you were looking for in about two
: minutes. Rather than telling you where to find it, I will tell you
: how to find it.
:
: 1. turn on the brailleNote.
:
: 2. press space-o and then u. Or ctrl-o and u in qt, I believe.
:
: 3. press i for index when asked.
:
: 4. Press the letter U because you are looking for Unicode chars.
:
: 7. The list of entries beginning with u starts with underline. press
: the spacebar till you get to unicode. There will be a clear and
: concise message here. Do what it tells you to do. Hint, pressing
: the letter e from here may produce good results.
:
: 8. press the space bar till you find what you are looking for.
:
: 9. press enter
:
: 10. You will find a sub index here, my friend. Press the spacebar
: until you reach the precise entry for which you are searching.
:
: 11. Press enter.
:
: 12. Read the portion of the manual which is presented to you at this
: point.
:
: All index searches in the manual are done in the same way, folks. I
: realize that it looks like a lot of steps, twelve steps, b'God.
: However, I have broken this task into twelve tiny parts. You will
: not need all these tiny parts after you do an index search for the
: first time. The key is to remember that the index is a list box. If
: you remember your computer training, a list box can be navigated by
: using the arrow keys or in this case the spacebar and the backspace.
: A list box, by popular convention in Microsoft, even Windows CE, is
: organized alphabetically. Therefore, it can also be navigated by
: using the first letter of the item for which you are searching.
:
: HTH,
: Ann P.
