Charles and Sharon,

I've changed the subject to be relevant. What you have to do is cancel the
entire appointment. Make sure your cursor is on the Time line (in this case
the words "All Day). To do this, advance your Braille display until you see
the words "All Day" which are associated with the appointment you want to
delete, and press any one of the touch cursor buttons above one of the cells
occupied by the words "All Day". You will notice that the cursor expands to
cover the entire Time line (both the words "All Day"). Alternatively, you
could move your cursor between appointments using [SPACE with dot 4], [READ
with U] for the Previous Appointment, [SPACE with dots 1-4], [READ with I] for
the Current Appointment, and [SPACE with dot 4], [READ with O] for the Next
Appointment until you are on the appointment you want to delete. Then, when
your cursor is on the appointment you want to delete, press [BACKSPACE with
dots 1-4], [CONTROL with I]. You'll be asked to confirm cancellation of the
appointment, so press Y for "Yes", and if it's a recurring appointment, either
press A to cancel all of the appointments or J for just the one you're
focussing on. Even though it's an All Day appointment, which may have been
created when you scheduled one, or which is automatically created when you type
in the Planner (but not in the Notes of an appointment), you still have to
treat it like an appointment with a time associated with it. This means that
canceling the entire appointment will delete the "All Day" Time line" It sounds
to me like you were deleting the title word by word and the notes as opposed to
canceling the appointment using [BACKSPACE with dots 1-4], [CONTROL with I].
For the appointment where the time remains, follow the same procedure but
substitute "All Day" for the actual time of your appointment, and appointments
with a time can only be created if you schedule them (as opposed to the All Day
appointments also being created when you type in the Planner but not in an
appointment). HTH.

Maria
