Hello Laura,

Well, if you thought I had missed this one, I hadn't! As I've stated previously, we're all pretty busy pending the 6.1 release and there are only so many hours in the day, etc etc etc.

The issue with the renaming shortcut is that if you add an extension, the other one will still be kept. To make sure I wasn't getting confused with anything for example, I copied one of the CBT files from the Windows folder on the KS system disk to the flashdisk.

I renamed it using backspace with r and called it dean.kwb. However, the file was called dean.kwb.cbt.

Basically, it was said to ensure that the file was named correctly.

Hi Dean:

Just a question regarding why you asked Richard not to use the hot key for renaming a file in this situation? Why would one choose to not use the hot key? Is there something which using this key causes problem with, such as when you're changing the extension of a file?

Thanks for any info, Laura

Hi Richard,

You have copied the file to the correct folder. However, because it is a
KeyList file, we do not speak the file extension. I suspect that the KLT
extension was lost when you copied the file to the KeyMail folder.

What I would do is go to the KeyMail folder, pressing space with i on both
of the directory of services files. I suspect one will say it's a text file while the other will say KeyList file. Delete the KeyList file and use the rename option in the file manager to rename the other file, adding the .klt
extension. Note that you should not use the hot key, backspace with r to
rename the file in this case.

If this is not the case, please let me know and we'll try and resolve this
one next week.

Regards,

Dean Jackson.
