I find it's just as easy to find files using Keyword or Keybook.

Subject: [Braillenote] The file manager

Hi. I'm wondering what Jonathan or Dean will say about trying to improve
file manager by allowing people to open it up without going to Keyword. For
the first time, I travelled with my Br Note alone and found finding files
quickly very annoying. I guess Boo Reader is Ok, because there's no real
hurry to open up a book that one wishes to read, the it's fairly quick,
anyway. It's well and good to have extraordinary Internet connectivity, but
why not focus on other things as well like being able to open up a file
quickly from within file manager without having to go to Keyword to do so,
or being able to open up a file on the flash card without having to exit
that option just to go somewhere else to get there. That seems
time-consuming. How do I quickly find a name or phone number for someone
with this wonderful product, and I still think it's wonderful, though I can
find files very rapidly with my Braille Lite.
I don't know how to make a template to manage my checkbook with this
product, and I'm wondering if Pulse Data will implement a check manager
program, so I and others won't have to use the calculator to manage one's
savings, checking, or investment accounts. At least have an interface with
talking checkboo with Acb, qen, or something! I feel like I'm being ignored
about this money manager program which I feel is very important, darn it!
I've been backed up with way too many e-mails. Anyone who has any Braille
Lite issues, please write me any time and if you wish, give me a phone
number because I have mucho phone privileges with my landline and my cell
phone, and I love to talk to people.
I'm very qad I invested inthe Braille Note, and I'm excited about version
6.1.
Would Pvse Data consider on a limited basis hving Keyshop at some big state
conventions like the one in California. Thank you.
Maria, how do you, Karen, Doug, Mary Ellen, or anyone else for that matter
feel about finding files with the file manager. I don't want to be inthe
minority here.
Nancy
