Hi Bob, I just wanted to make some quick comments on your post. First of all, if she wants to use it, Sherry can also use the single-character wild car, which is a question mark for all models, and on the BT, she could alternatively press SPACE with dots 2-3-6. For US Computer Braille, the question mark is dots 1-4-5-6, and for UK, it's dots 2-6. The UK Computer Braille symbol for the star is dots 3-5. True, the multiple-character wild card which you suggested in your post selects all files in a folder, and she can also use it to select files with something in common, but I also just wanted to present the option of the single-character wild card in case she ever wants to use this to select some files that have something in common. She can press the single-character wild card multiple times when selecting a file. On the BT, the Computer Braille symbols for the question mark and star can be used interchangeably with the SPACE with dots 2-3-6 and SPACE with dots 3-5 commands, and on the QT, you would press SHIFT with SLASH (question mark) for the single- or SHIFT with 8 (star) for the multi-character wild card.
